The majority of its products are made with a very specific kind of customer in mind, those with dry non-sensitive, and more mature skin. The newly launched Jones Road What The Foundation
($44) is one such product. Although the idea of the product is good, it is not for everyone.

The texture of the balm foundation is like a thick gel cream. When you put it on, you would feel moisturized but a tad heavy and sticky, similar to what it feels like after putting on your night cream. It has a light skin-like coverage that lasts well only if you set it with powder. If you have dry skin, your skin would feel happy being nourished throughout the day. But if you have oily or combination skin, or acne-prone skin (castor oil in it), you would want to steer away from this product.
