Dupe of the Week #3 - Kosas, Huda Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, SkinCeuticals, Givenchy Dupes

is a weekly series featuring 5 new dupes we’ve added to our database each week. This week, we are bringing you dupes for Kosas Glow I.V., Huda Beauty Cherry Blossom powder, Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencil, SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, and Givenchy Tinted Liquid Balm.
The concept of the is a glowy primer, but it also has pretty decent coverage. The issue with this formula is that because it has detectable glitters when you put it all over your face you look like a vampire.
If you are looking for an actual glow-enhancing primer, with a little bit of coverage to even out skin tones, and is still hydrating, try the ($22). It is praised for its lightweight feel, ease of application, and ability to even out skin tone while imparting a natural, lit-from-within glow.
The downside is it only has one color but it’s marketed as universally as it has only a little coverage - so it should work for different skin tones.

- Cherry Blossom ($38) Dupe

Every brand is launching pink powder now. Pink tones in face powder can help counteract sallow or dull-looking skin, especially for the under-eye area. One of the best-selling ones is the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder in ($38). There are a couple of other options we found if you want something more affordable,
Jones Road Beauty ($28)
ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr ($34)

Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon l ($29) Dupe

The is something I use every day.  It’s versatile as a pigmented eyeliner but you can also smudge it out as an eyeshadow, which is very long-lasting. I’ve been wanting to get more colors for something I use daily, but it is not cheap.
Luckily, Sephora Collection has a very similar  ($14) that comes in even more shades and finishes, matte, shimmer, or glitter. For $14, I can afford more colors and still get a beautiful eye look that doesn’t budge.
P.S. The  we shared more in another dupe alert.

SkinCeuticals ($102) Dupe

In our beauty alerts newsletter, we wrote about the reason why SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic is so expensive is because of their patented formula, they can set the premium price as they are the only ones with the formulae. You can dupe the result for sure, but not the formula.
For other products, the premium price is less justified given other alternatives. The has 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid (brighten), and 5% Niacinamide.
The for the same amount of product and nearly identical formula. Other than tranexamic acid, it also has kojic acid, niacinamide,  and licorice root to improve post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.  Those with sensitive skin also love this for not sensitizing skin.

Givenchy Rose Perfecto ($38) Dupe

I am seeing so many positive reviews for the Givenchy Rose Perfecto , it’s a beautiful product with beautiful packaging. But it certainly is not unique.
The ($38) is one of the first products in the category. Formulated with organic plant oils, it gives the lip a hint of color while leaving lips pillowy soft, and juicy. The packaging also feels weighty and luxurious.
We’ve written about some other in another dupe alert post, one of the most-loved by our community is the ($26). It gives a sheer tint of color, but it is a true makeup-skincare hybrid that gives your dry lips the shot of moisture they need to stay plump through not only plant oils but biomolecules (whatever that means… it just work!) from pomegranate flowers. You can feel it sinks into your lip - lip serum is an accurate name for this product.

Each week, I spend hours researching, writing, and keeping beautydupes.xyz updated with new dupes. I have no staff, no interns - a thoroughly one-woman labor of love.

The site has remained free and ad-free thanks to your support shopping through the affiliate links. And now, patronage from readers.

If this labor has made your beauty shopping easier and more affordable, please consider supporting the site with a small monthly donation. Your support makes all the difference.
